I have been a big fan of supplementing the body with Magnesium. When discussing it with patients, it was hard to explain the benefits but I have found a good video on the subject on Youtube. This explains, with video, the importance of the balance between Magnesium and Calcium with respect to inside and outside of the cells in our body. Magnesium is the second most common element in our body and I believe that our foods do not provide enough magnesium. A good Calcium/Magnesium pill is good or my trusty epsom salts are also a good source of Magnesium.
